SANKOFA SATURDAYS

SANKOFA?

To look backward to be able to move forward. We have to examine and understand our past to understand the present.

Welcome to the Sakofa Saturday's page where you can learn about what we do with children on Saturdays throughout the year.

Spring 2026

Sakofa is back in action this spring 2026 with interactive activities and guests who are volunteering to share their passions and purpose. We continue on our cultural experience while enhancing our children ability to read and write. We believe through self-discovery all children can learn and when the learning is relatable they can learn. If you have a child between the ages of 5 years old and 15 years old, Sakofa is the place for them.

We are also interested in volunteers who would like to help us continue to grow our children's cultural knowledge and appreciation.

Sign up today to get your child involved, there is still time to sign up!
