"Voice of Healing, Stories of Us" Poetry Jam: June 2026 Juneteenth Celebrations This month we had three straight days of Juneteenth Celebrations. It was kicked off at our first ever portrait unveiling that you view here . It was a beautiful event that you should definitely check out. Friday night we kicked it off with a Jazz Night and Poetry Jam. Folk felt the beat and were able to move with the rhythm and they stayed for the culture. See photos from the days event here.

In The Spirit of Giving!
The Alice Moore Black Arts & Cultural Center founded by Dr. Alice Green provides more than just a space to celebrate Black history, but also provides free events and resources to the community. This holiday season, the staff at AMBACC in collaboration with community partners provide food for families in need during Thanksgiving.
