Poetry, Community & Connection at AMBACC

On September 18, AMBACC welcomed poets, artists, supporters, and community members for another heartfelt evening of poetry, spoken word, creativity, and connection.

We want to give a special thank you to every poet who stepped up to the microphone and shared a piece of themselves with the room, as well as everyone in the community who came out to listen, support, encourage, and experience the evening together.

There is something powerful about creating a space where people can use their voices freely and where a room full of people can leave feeling a little more connected than when they arrived. Every poet brought their own story, perspective, emotion, and energy, and every person in the audience helped create an atmosphere where those voices could be heard.

Sometimes it is a poem, a conversation, a laugh, or simply hearing someone else’s story that reminds us how much we have in common. Moments like these are why community spaces matter.

Thank you to our poets and our community for continuing to make Poetry Jam a space for creativity, expression, vulnerability, and connection.
